Arc Centre Wood Products and Odd Job Services

The woodwork shop found within the Arc Centre has spent decades producing, creating and supplying our community with an array of wood products. These items range from construction survey sakes to park-style picnic tables and garden benches. During the off season, custom orders are explored in order to challenge and learn new ideas, techniques and skills

Employment & Community Supports

The Employment & Community Support Team meets with service users, listens to their specific career goals and then assists in all aspects of securing and continuing employment in the community. This process often leads to paid employment, job placements or meaningful volunteer activities that give people an opportunity to participate in the community.

Weddings and Annex

Weddings specializes in the creation and sale of pompoms, presentation boxes and Just Married signs. Also available for rent are car tops, wishing wells and pew bows.

Bus Shelters

Our Bus Shelter cleaning contract through the City of Thunder Bay allows individuals to participate in a community based on the job training experience that develops skill in both cleaning and mechanical repair techniques.

ARC Centre Garden ~ Monty's Park

The idea for building a garden behind the Arc Centre began in 1999 by Patty Walker (former LACL staff).
