Service Quality Review Committee (SQRC)

Description

The purpose of the committee is to review and enhance the quality of services provided by the Community Living Thunder Bay based on measurable outcomes as identified by people receiving supports.

The committee takes on a systematic approach when evaluating the quality of the supports and services. The committee recognizes the need to broaden the quality improvement efforts. From the results gathered by external reviews conducted by Accreditation Ontario and from Self-Assessment workshops, the committee tracks and reviews these results to ensure that improvements are made in the areas of unmet needs identified.

The committee also recognizes the need to respond to the identified concerns from family members. Surveys with family members are conducted in order to determine the level of satisfaction. Recommendations are made to ensure proper follow-up is taken for each individual concern.
