Employer/Employee Relations Committee

Primary Function

The Employer/Employee Relations Committee will support communication, mutual respect and understanding between the employer and employees.

Duties

To discuss ways and means of maintaining good morale and better working conditions.
To discuss courses of action and make recommendations arising from its discussion of Employer/Employee relations.

Accountability

The Employer/Employee Committee minutes shall be taken, signed by the co-chairs, and distributed to all committee members.

Composition

The Employer/Employee Relations Committee will be composed of three representatives of the Union from Local OPSEU 738, and three representatives of Management. The committee meetings shall be co-chaired by the union chair and the management chair.

Meetings

The Committee shall meet monthly. Additional meetings may be scheduled when deemed necessary by both parties.
